Regular Meeting
May 13, 2025
Administration Building Cafeteria 5:30 P.M.

The meeting was called to order by the president. The following members were present: Mr. Lane, Mr. Livingston, Mrs. Smith, Ms. Sykes, Mrs. Thompson and Mr. Williams.  Rev. Green was absent.

The April 14, 2025 minutes and financial report were approved as presented.

A motion was made by Mr. Livingston and seconded by Mrs. Thompson to approve the AR App 2025-2026 Assurances and GEPA Statement Programs under ESSA and IDEA.  The motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Livingston and seconded by Mr. Williams to renew the FSMC Contract for K-12 Culinary Connections Food Service Management Company for the 2025-2026 School Year with no amendments from the original contract agreement.  The motion carried.

The superintendent discussed ASBA Model Policies Guidance; The Lakeside Middle School roofing system; Architectural Punch List (Lakeside Middle School Cafeteria and ADA toilet addition); School Election, Asbestos; Teacher Appreciation and Mainline Health Systems, Inc. Productivity Report for the last three years.

The president requested that the board go into executive session for the purpose of employment, promotion, discipline of resignation of personnel.   After the discussion, the public was allowed to return.

A motion was made by Mr. Livingston and seconded by Mr. Williams to hire Clayton Foster (6th – 12th Band Director) and Kenterius Drew (6th-12th Healthy Physical Education and 7th-12th Boys Basketball Coach).  The motion carried.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:24 p.m.
