Lakeside Board of Education

Special Called Meeting

June 15, 2020

Staff Development Room

5:30 P.M.

The meeting was called to order by the president. The following members were present: Rev. Green,

Ms. Griffin, Mr. Livingston, Mr. Mosley, Mrs. Thompson and Mr. Williams. Rev. McJoy was absent.

The board heard presentations from Clayton Vaden with Lewis Elliott McMarron Vaden Ragsdale

Woodwand, Inc., Dillon Ripley, President of United Turf and Track and Curtis Wilson (Astro Turf), and

Billy Dawson representing Geo Surfaces, Inc. to do the Lakeside High School football field and track

project.

After the presentations, United Turf and Track proposed to do the Lakeside High School Turf football

field and track project for $1,499,300.00 and Geo Surfaces, Inc. Proposed bid was $1,474,000.00

including the Geo Flot 14mm Shock Pad System under the entire areas of artificial turf surface. All

bidders are Tips/Taps.

A motion was made by Mr. Livingston and seconded by Rev. Green to accept Geo Surfaces proposed bid

for $1,474,000. The motion carried.

No further business, the minutes adjourned at 7:45.
