Regular Meeting
August 12, 2024
Administration Building Cafeteria
5:30 P.M.

The meeting was called to order by the president. The following members were present: Rev. Green, Mr. Lane, Mr. Livingston, Mrs. Smith, Ms. Sykes, Mrs. Thompson and Mr. Williams. 

The minutes and financial reports for August 12, 2024 meeting were approved as presented.

The superintendent discussed the construction report (safe room and warehouse), District school bus routes, Senate Cozart’s, CISA Funding Model Plan, ASBA Fall Leadership Institute, Lakeside Yearbook and Bank of Lake Village Annual Calendar.

A motion was made by Mr. Livingston and seconded by Rev. Green to re-appoint Reginald Dixon to serve on Chicot County Equalization Board.  The motion carried.

The President requested that the board to into executive session for the purpose of employment, appointment, promotion, discipline and resignation of personnel.

After the discussion, the public was allowed to return.  A motion was made by Mr. Livingston and seconded by Mr. Williams to approve the contract of Tammie Holmes (High School P/E Health and Girl Basketball Coach), George Gilbert (Custodian for Cafeteria) and accept the resignation of Eddie Culley.  The motion carried.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:30 P.M.
