Lakeside School District Participates
In Child Find Awareness
Child Find Awareness has begun for the Lakeside School District. This campaign is an effort to locate children from birth to 21 years of age with special education needs. The Lakeside School District provides comprehensive special education services for all school-age children. If a parent suspects their school-age child has a disability, they may contact any of the individuals below. For information regarding preschool services for children ages three to five, interested persons can contact Southeast Arkansas Educational Service Cooperative Early Childhood Coordinator, Michelle Hoyt. The preschool program provides educational evaluations, academic instruction, speech/language, and physical/occupational therapy. The phone number is 870-367-6848. For more information regarding services for children from birth to three years of age, interested persons should call 1-800-643-8258 and ask for the early intervention department.
